Welcome to The Sandy Shutter, I want to answer the question "how was it created?" about my photography. This project is here to explain my whole process, from pulling over while driving down the road because the sunset looks good, to scouring topo maps because I think a random high point in the desert will give me a creative perspective on my subject. I will share what my journey required to capture my images, how I was able to achive them and what it took for my ultimate success or failures. You will be able to see me development and try new practices from locations to editing practices, and especially when I get new photography gear. My blog is where you will see the majority of the details while my snap shots and Instagram will be mostly just cool pictures. I will use other photographers and even my own past images as inspiration, I will mentions and give them credit when due, and I might create some videos at some point. This is ultimately for expression and learning.
